Prostart North America is in expansion and is looking for an Operations Management Trainee in Grand-Junction, CO 🇺🇸
The Prostart Operations Management Trainee job involves oversight of all the skills related to the profession of sports starting gate manufacturer. The trainee must have good organization skills and be able to focus on multiple tasks at the same time.
During about 2 years, the trainee will be assisted with the CEO Quentin GRUN to learn how to become a manager of a starting & timing systems company for the North-American market 🇺🇸
What is PROSTART ?
We design, manufacture & install Sports starting and timing systems, especially for BMX Racing.
The headquarter of the company is in France 🇫🇷 where the company started in 2005 and today, Prostart is hiring 6 workers. Most of the production is made in France and is shipped all over the world, including USA 🇺🇸
Prostart North America has been created in January 2020 and the lease for the office has been signed in February 2020. But with the Covid-19, the schedule to have an office open all year round in Colorado has been seriously postponed until the CEO can get his Visa to live in USA 🇺🇸
After more than 2 years of doubts and since October 2022, the CEO is living in Grand-Junction and that’s why the company is now offering a job.
What is the role of an Operations Management Trainee ?
The role is to assist the CEO and learn everything to run the US company in less than 2 years. This job involves to manage a lot of processes and ask to travel in all North America (Mainly USA but also Canada & Mexico)
All the main tasks of the job :
– Help on the management of the inventory and shipping process
– Help on the assembly of final products in the US office in Grand-Junction
– Travel to install, maintain or repair BMX Gates on club tracks (All North America)
– Help on the customer relations management in answering phone, sending estimates / invoices & representing the company on few races every year (Grands, Nationals, GoldCups, …)
– Help on the development of the company to touch new customers or domains.
